How To Remove A Hot Tub
Do you have an old Hot Tub, Spa or Jacuzzi that you would like to get rid of, but don't know where to start?
Below are a few things to consider when removing a hot tub:
1. Will it fit through the pathway? Take measurements for width and height.
Eves, gas meters and air conditioning units can get in the way.
2. Does the electrical wiring need to be detached? We highly recommended
a licensed electrical contractor to disconnect the wiring.
3. Lifting the hot tub - you will need 2-4 strong people to help lift it on its side
and then onto a dolly or two. Strap the dollies to the hot tub first!
4. Do you have an even hard path such as a concrete sidewalk? If not you will
need to plank it out with sheets of plywood.
